Company Drug and Alcohol Policy

Company Drug and Alcohol Policy exceeds the principles set forth in the Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) "Guidelines for the control of drugs and alcohol aboard ships" and applies to all shore staff and sea going personnel.

It is generally recognised that the use of drugs or the abuse of alcohol or other substance by Company employees decreases their ability to properly perform their assigned duties and may have adverse effects on themselves as well as the safety, efficiency and productivity of other fellow employees.

The management of HYDROUSSA NAVIGATION LTD. is committed to a safe, healthy and productive working environment for all employees. Accordingly all employees:

- Are recognised as key participants to the successful implementation of this policy.
- Have responsibility to the Company and their fellow employees, to ensure that everyone in the workplace complies with this policy.

The misuse of legitimate drugs or the use, possession, distribution or sale of unlawful or unprescribed drugs on Company premises is forbidden and grounds for employment termination.

The distribution or sale of alcoholic beverages on Company premises is not allowed without prior approval of the management.

Being unfit for work due to the use of drugs or alcohol is grounds for employment termination.

Although this Policy specifically refers to drugs and alcohol, it is intended to be applicable to all forms of substance abuse.

The Company reserves the right to conduct unannounced searches for drugs and/or alcohol on its owned or controlled property.

The Company reserves the right to submit employees to drug and alcohol testing, should the use of drugs or the abuse of alcohol be either obvious or strongly suspected.
